Is it safe to update the (old) Hue bridge to the latest firmware? I remember reading something about problems with the Hue binding that occur after updating. Are these problems still an issue?

I have been keeping ours up to date, but I see there is another new software now that I do not yet have… In the process of updating, and will reply back on how it goes.
Fully updated. Looks good. I tested with OpenHAB2 and PaperUI
