I hadnt noticed prior to today, when i update the runtime, i had to reinstall all the bindings. is this normal?
Do you have them listed in the addons.cfg file in the services folder? If you update that, it should auto-download the bindings. However, I think if you do a full update, it overwrites the existing addons.cfg file. To address that, I copy my correct addons.cfg to addons.bak and copy over after the update.

If you start from clean openHAB2 online package, configure bindings and things etc. Where is that stored?
