im working on homekit addon enhancements and would like to add support for items metadata but it is not clear to me how to register the namespace for it, how to access it, etc
i could not find any examples or any implementations of MetadataProvider/MetadataRegistry in current addons.
do you have an example for me?

i have overlooked it. I saw some few tests class in hue addon using MetadataRegistry and ignore them. but they are actually good and provide enough information.
thanks, homekit addon can read metadata now.
ps: surprised that only few addons using metadata - it is actually pretty powerful.
