Valloxmv Binding - problem with items number:Dimensionless

Hello,

after updating from openhab version 3.4 to 4.0.2 it is not possible any more to set a new ventilator speed at valloxmv thing. There seems to be a problem with items with the type number:dimensionless if I change the speed by “1%”, follwing the log openhab forwards “0.01” to vallox and the communication interrupts for a short time.
I already tried to reinstall the binding, create a new thing and new items. Nothings helped.

Can someone take a look at the vallox-Binding?

It’s not the binding. You neglected to read and follow the manually required changes discussed in the list of breaking changes in the OH 4 announcement. Add unit metadata to these Items set to %.

ok, thank you. I didn’t understand to set “%” in “unit” instead of “state description”. Once more thank you for your great work and patience!
