So I want to add a 5 second timer, I haven’t a clue of the format so I have to close the Rule, open another one that I know I have used for a timer before, cut the timer part of the rule, go back to the new rule, paste into new rule and modify as required.

But you can instead open the developer sidebar, search for “timer”, right click on one of the rules found to open it in a new tab, copy the text from that new tab, switch to the original tab and then paste.
