Philips recently rolled out a new version 3 of the Hue bridge (black color), which supports the following new features:
‘Speaker’ device that plays door bell chime sounds, and/or security alarm sounds.
‘Door bell’ device that extends normal button devices to support door bell chimes above.
‘Motion Aware’ areas that read RF signal fluctuations of 3 (or more) lights and infer a virtual motion detector device.
I have already written a PR (link below) to support these new devices and add a new ‘motion area’ thing type; but since I lack all the hardware necessary for testing I need other testers too.
