Waterleak with Flukso Meter

I’m using Flukso (over MQTT) for water, electricity and gas measurement.
This works great. But now, I want to make it all more intelligent.

Big leaks
For the water, I’m using a small rule that checks the water consumption. If more then 200L is seen in 30 minutes, this will trigger and alert. Since a bath tub is 150L in 15 minutes. So big leaks are ‘covered’.

Small leaks
But now, I’m thinking about a small leak. With only ‘some drips a minute’.
Below, you can see that fluksoWaterA check +/- every minutes, and default values are below 550 (?). This is something to do with the way that flukso is checking it. So never ‘0’.

2020-06-23 19:11:18.614 - fluksoWaterA changed from 486 to 519

When I now let a tap drip some water, it goes above 550.

2020-06-23 18:32:47.611 - fluksoWaterA changed from 530 to 745
2020-06-23 18:33:57.609 - fluksoWaterA changed from 745 to 614

2020-06-23 18:37:50.605 - fluksoWaterA changed from 606 to 499

So 550 can be my minimum? When values are above for a long time, something is dripping? Of course, I should eliminate normal consumpution (bath tub, shower, dish washer…). But I guess that nothing is ‘open’ the whole time?

I was thinking to check the last hours, and if the value didn’t go below 550, something can be wrong?

What do you guys thinking about this? Any suggestions to do it different, better… ?
