Wemo binding not showing

I installed the wemo binding but each time the Openhab process simply crashes. Nothing in the openhab log files. Just a Abort trap (core dumped) in the OS console.

I attempted the installation both through Paper UI and Configuration Files. With the UI, the openhab process crashes as mentioned. With config files, the process crashes the first time it starts. The openhab console shows that the addon binding is installed:

openhab-binding-wemo | 2.5.1 | x | Started | openhab-addons-2.5.1 | Wemo Binding

However it does not show up in the UI.

Please give us some more info:
Hardware,OS, Java version
And please post the log showing your crash.

This is the server log for the entire day. The first few hours were me adding a new z-wave thing. The rest of it is the service being stopped, started, or started after a crash. You can tell it was a crash if you don’t see the server being shutdown.

Please read the pretequidits. You are using a not recommended Java version.
Remove OpenJDK and install Azul Zulu-8.
After having done, please try again.
Is there any particular reason running FreeBSD instead of Ubuntu 20.04 LTS Server on your VM ?
I always use Ubuntu and have not faced any issues.
