What are the download URLs of addons in the market place?

MainUI checks for valid Marketplace posts when you open the addon-store menu

Does this mean that when I want to UPDATE an add on (binding) which I previously published (Blink), that I should:

  1. Modify my existing post, editing the URL, version number & ChangeLog words? OR
  2. Create a new post, with the same title, and a new URL, version number, & ChangeLog words.

It sounds like the answer is #1. I should modify my previous post. Can you confirm?
