What hygrometer (wifi/zigbee) should I buy?

Hi there,

I want to monitor the humidity in several places in my basement. I have openhab running on a raspi and it has a zigbee dongle. So, I am looking for a device that connects via zigbee or wifi.

I’m a bit clueless, especially when it comes to how good they operate with openhab. As I need a couple of them, they’d range on the lower price ranger, preferably.

What devices can you recommend buying? Is there a list of sorts?

Any input is highly appreciated.

I just bought 4 of them for tests, all of them showed the same temperature within 0.3 *C

If you expand to bluetooth I’ve had good luck with Govee H5072. The OH BT binding supports it but I use a BT to MQTT bridge.

I’m not sure if BT can cover the distance. I might order one to try it.

There isn’t a binding for the WiFi devices, right?

WiFi is too varried. Each and every vendor has their own API which needs to be separately implemented. There are lots of wifi devices supported by OH through various bindings, but there is no one “WiFi Devices” binding.
