What is the Command to Delete the Device from Things

Hi, I am using OpenHab 3 I want to know what command you are passing to delete a device from Things.

Click “Select” in the top right corner. Check the box next to the Thing(s) you want to delete. Then choose “Delete” at the bottom.

However, that might leave orphaned Links and Items. So I recommend the following.

  1. Go to the Thing to delete.
  2. Open the Channels tab.
  3. Choose “Unlink all Items” or “Unlink and Remove all Items” (if you want to delete the Items too.
  4. Return to the “Thing” tab and select “Delete” at the bottom of the screen.

If you are using .things file, simply remove the Thing definition from the file.
