Well, they say timing is everything. I was just chatting with the IT guy at work and he had just decommissioned a 16 port unmanaged switch which was about to go into the bin…so I swiped it for home. Does what I need, has 1GB network, 16 ports - 4 poe, happy days.
Therefore, that’s my first part sorted. I’ve now got the kit I need / saved some money.
Now onto SNMP binding to see what I can create.
