Widget template dynamic design help

Dear, while I have crafted couple of simple widgets , I’m now stuck with one I need to work.
Can anyone can point me in the direction how to create dynamic linear gauge. Similar to the knob widget but linear and custom made from scratch as knob has some unpredictable crash behaviour if it gets out of bounds value

BTW I can use progress bar component as I need it to be 2-directional with a ZERO point in the middle.

If only I get some guides how to make it will fine tune any example code and will post the results.

How about using the slider as the basis for this? The rest is a matter of styling in properly I would say.

Was thinkig about that, but I do not know how to make a bar extending. I do not want to make a linear gauge with needele but rather one like this with a bar that changes dimension.
