Windows update OH2 to OH3 missing events.log

today i updated my OH2.2 to OH3.0.1

gui works fine. openhab.log is updating. but no events.log

i tried a fresh install of OH3 and everything on there looks to be fine. any ideas whats going on before i rise it as a issue in github?

I’ve done a fresh install of openHAB 3 on my Windows machine, and wrapper.log is the only log file currently being created. None of the other log files are exist in the logs folder. I’ve restarted the service and machine several times, and still no logs. Odd thing is the other log files were created when I initially ran start.bat, but after I setup the Windows service I deleted all the log files and rebooted`. i looked at that post.
i have tried most/all the fixes in that. but didn’t get anywhere with it. but also seemed more about fresh install not working.
