Work around for slider breaks Colorpicker

To fix the issue with slider in 1.8 I added [%s %%] to my items description. I actually like it better and more importantly my wife does… However it breaks Colorpicker, any way to fix that?

If I remove %s things are fine, just lose the value of the dimmer.
