Xiaomi Aqara Temperature Humidity Sensor with Philips Hue

Hi,

I am wondering if it is possible to connect a Xiaomi Aqara Temperature Humidity Sensor without the Xiaomi gateway. I already have the Philips Hue in use and also Osram lights connected.

Does anyone know if Xiaomi components can be used with the Philips Hue bridge?

Did you found a solution for this? I am having exactly the same question. I’ve ordered some Xiaomi sensors that are on their way and I already have the Hue bridge. Are the Xiaomi sensors supported by Hiue?

Not by the hue bridge directly, no.

FWIW, I have an Aqara Gateway with several sensors and it’s kind of useful itself with its colour-changing light and speaker which OpenHAB can control - for example for doorbells and alarms.

I have a fleet of temperature and humidity sensors and the batteries look like they will last a couple of years at the current rate of discharge.
