FYI: it has been merged now, so after you have installed the new release you can remove your local file and your device will be automatically recognized.

Hi I need some help to let my Google assistant to control my xiaomi tower fan, I can see other xiaomi devices on my Google home assistant list but not the tower fan, any chance to crack this?
I recently aquired a Xiaomi Mi Smart Standing Fan 2 which runs under the device ID dmaker.fan.p18 and has some other property sorting as the p9 for which a json file was posted here.
So with the help of miot-spec.org ( miot-spec.org/miot-spec-v2/instance?type=urn:miot-spec-v2:device:fan:0000A005:dmaker-p18:1 i compiled a p18-json file, which works great with the miio-binding.

@ElwoodSC if it works great, would you mind submitting it in github, than we can add it to be available for all users.
Alternatively, I can also include your file if you prefer it that way
I included my json-file in my previous post - I’m not sure on how to submit in Github but I will try to figure it out.
