I am running OH 2.5.4 on openHABian, and recently bought a Yamaha receiver and integrated it into openHAB. I have a lot of messages about my yamaha receiver in the openHAB Event log:

I have already tried to remove and re-discover the Yamaha things but errors keep re-appearing. Cleaned the openHAB cache, rebooted my Raspberry PI… Nothing really helps.

What do I need to do to avoid these?

I’m not sure what to do about the issues, but I do see you’re using the Yamaha Receiver Binding?
I do use, next to that one, also the Yamaha Musiccast binding. If your receiver supports this as well it might also work.

Thank you for your reply! I am using the binding to do the following:
If (the receiver switches on and input source is Spotify) or (receiver switches input source to Spotify )
then set logitech harmony to Activity Spotify

Is that possible with the music cast binding? Is there any documentation for that binding? For the yamaha binding docs it is in the maintained documentation.

OK. Yes there is a channel which shows the input. I do use is to combine a receiver and wx-021 device.

I have the same issue but it happens only when the receiver input is Spotify
