Hi there,

just wanted to leave one finding here because I fiddeled around the whole day trying to get my Razberry GPIO DaughterCard on a brand new Raspbian Jessy Image to run:

This was my error message:
OFFLINE (COMMUNICATION\_ERROR): Serial Error: Port /dev/ttyAMA0 does not exist

Additionally to the steps mentioned in
[http://docs.openhab.org/installation/linux.html#privileges-for-common-peripherals](http://docs.openhab.org/installation/linux.html#privileges-for-common-peripherals)

I had to edit
**_/boot/cmdline.txt_**
from
**_dwc\_otg.lpm\_enable=0 console=serial0,115200 console=tty1 root=/dev/mmcblk0p2 rootfstype=ext4 elevator=deadline fsck.repair=yes rootwait_**
to
**_dwc\_otg.lpm\_enable=0 console=tty1 root=/dev/mmcblk0p2 rootfstype=ext4 elevator=deadline fsck.repair=yes rootwait_**

leaving out the first **_console=serial0,115200_**
Hope this helps someone!

Cheers!
