Z-wave. Node "GWPN6" won't complete Initialisation

Hello, I am trying to get my first z-wave thing to work in openHAB2, but I am having some issues with the Initialisation-process. It keeps trying to complete the initialisation but halts on:
“NODE 2: Node advancer: Retries exceeded at STATIC_VALUES” if I look in the openhab.log-file.

I am not sure if I am during something wrong, or my z-wave thing just doesn’t work in openHAB?

@chris how can we troubleshoot this device? The device worked in version 1.8.?..

These devices have some bugs. The fix for this that was used in OH1 had to be removed as it’s not compatible with the latest ZWave spec. There’s an open PR to fix this but it’s waiting changes from the author - this might solve the problem. I’ll have a look at this next week.

I’ve merged some changes yesterday that may (or not!) help with this. The issue appears to be endpoint related, so hopefully the following change will resolve this issue - if not, please provide a new log.

Additionally, from one of the logs above I found another bug that only shows up because of this devices bug ;). This is just merged so I’d suggest to try the snapshot from tonight (I’ve just kicked off a build).

I am experiencing the same problem with the same device. I am running the release version of openhab2. Does that include the mentioned updates, or will I have to run a snapshot version?
