Z-Wave: Serial Error with Aeon Z-Stick S2 and Razberry

I tried the Aeon Z-Stick 2 on MacOS (openHAB 2.1). And at least I tried the Z-Stick and the Razberry zwave.me with no success.
On the Raspberry I have the /dev/ttyUSB0 (for the Z-Stick) and the /dev/ttyAMA0 (for the zwave.me) but I always get “Serial Error: Port xxx does not exist”.

I followed the instructions with setting EXTRA_JAVA_OPTS to “-Dgnu.io.rxtx.SerialPorts=/dev/ttyAMA0” and I put the openhab-user to group dialout.
No changes - same error.

This is most likely caused by the user not having permission to access the ports. The OS will tell you that it doesn’t exist if you don’t have access (this is standard security).

I’d do a search - it should show up a number of threads about this. Also the docs.
