[Z-Wave] Unknown device ZL-PA-100

node23.xml (8.4 KB)

I’ve attached the xml file for this item I received today. If this could be added at some point when you have time. No idea how I’m supposed to do this, hope this works. I’m in no hurry.

Ira

You can do it yourself also by reading:

Thank you. It’s already there but unfinished, I have signed up and will hopefully be able to help get it finished.

I have edit rights maybe I can update it

Is that what you’re looking for?

yup I will update it now
I found the manual here: http://www.zlinkproducts.com/product-documentation/ZLink/ZL-PA-100%20Users%20Guide.pdf
is this the device?

Vendor page: http://www.zlinkproducts.com/products/zlink-products-plug-in-appliance-module-zl-pa-100

Yes, that seems to be it but for the ZlinkProducts branding on the instructions and the name which is listed as ZL-PA-100 instead of just PA-100.

Thanks so much.

Ira

updated
you should wait for the next db build to be included in the next Z-Wave binding
If you want, you can try to manually update your local xml Z-Wave DB to include the export from https://www.cd-jackson.com/index.php/zwave/zwave-device-database/zwave-device-list/devicesummary/961 (export->openHAB2)

Is there an announce list that will advise me when updates are posted so I know when I can grab this?

Ira

I don’t think so
Some people usually grab the updated jar from here: https://ci.openhab.org/job/openHAB2-Bundles/lastBuild/org.openhab.binding$org.openhab.binding.zwave/

The database is exported almost daily and it finds itself in the next Z-Wave binding build.
So, usually, it takes anything from 1 to 5 days for the DB updates to be included in the binding jar.

If you use snapshots for OH2.4 your binding will be updated along with the core so no need to download manually the jar and place it in your addons folder.
