I have a ZEN22 dimmer switch and I am trying to add an associated group of the openhab controller, but I am unable to edit it. It does not even show up as an option for me.
Sounds like it might be a similar problem to this:
I decided to do a fresh install of my system and installed the #456 snapshot of OH2 I add HABmin from the UI extensions and it shows me running the 08/30 version. When I add a Zwave thing and create a new item for one of the channels it won’t let me assign groups to that item. I verified that the groups are in my home.items file and I see them if I look at the item list (and they are identifying as groups there).
Thoughts?
But I want to make sure I am going about setting it up correctly so I do not have issues later on.
Also it looks like information is missing from the database? Would it be best to update this first?

No, that post is not about association groups, but about Group itemtypes in openHAB.
Yes, there are no association groups defined, therefore you are not able to see (and configure) them.
Also the config parameters are missing. If you have that device, please add those too:

It looks like there is another one in the database, but is there a way I can tell my system to use this one?

This is what is shown in HABmin: Which does not give me the ability to associate the groups like my other devices do.
Sorry, I am a little confused on how all these pieces work together
This is what the file in my zwave folder looks like:

This is the one that OH should be using. If you go to the database, and type in your device type, and device ID from the XML file, you can do a search -:
The one you linked above is a different device from a different manufacturer. The title in your thing is also the same as the one I linked, not the one from Willis…
All that said, I’m not sure why there would then be no configuration displayed - unless you are using an old binding since the configuration was only added 5 months ago. If you’re on OH2.2, then it won’t be included, but it should be in 2.3? Can you confirm what version you are using?
Oh man, I feel dumb . . . Updates fix all
I went from 2.2 to 2.3 and all is well
