Zigbee lights turns back on after Astro-rule turned it off

A trigger is a trigger.

Out of interest, does that fasadalampa dimmer get involved in the evening events, or only morning? The debug logs suggest that two zigbee commands come from evening-off, and three from morning-off. Maybe that is the difference we seek.

From what I can see in the logs, the command is sent to turn it off, but the device still reports that it’s on. Unfortunately from the logging it’s not possible to see if the commands are really sent or not so I can’t confirm this.

One thing to note - why is the device being polled so often? Is that something you changed or was there a problem during the initialisation?

You also don’t say a) what the device is, or b) what binding version you’re running?

I don’t know why it’s being polled so often? I haven’t changed anything and I don’t believe I had any problems during initialisation. What polling rate would you expect?

The devices (Wallwart1 and Wallwart2) are IKEA Trådfri wall switches (art.no 903.561.66). The binding is binding-zigbee - 2.4.0.

It’s involved in the evening events (as a separate rule) by dimming it. I disabled all the fasadlampa-rules yesterday evening to see if they interfere with my other rules. We will see in 15min’s when the sun rises!

Now everything fires correctly!?! I will reenable the fasadlampa-rules and wait for tomorrow!

I forget - but something in the order of an hour or two.

Ok, this is very old - I would strongly recommend using a newer binding.

I installed the 2.4.0 from within paperUI. Am I out of date on the whole OH installation or is the latest binding only available from github?

Use this script to update to the latest binding with OH running. You may then need to delete & re-discover your device Things.

Unfortunately that script fails with a timeout after two minutes trying to “Back up and uninstall any unmanaged installs of Zigbee…” ! :frowning:

Where do I even find the latest build? I can find the source code on GitHub, but where is the .jar-file?

That can happen when OpenHAB is not running. The README file has the manual instructions.

Unfortunately Openhab is running…

It looks like these paths in the script are invalid?

Sure was wrong path: Zigbee and Z-Wave manual install script

Did the script work for you after the update? I hadn’t tested it yet with Zigbee.

Yes, so far so good! I had to uninstall the 2.4.0 version installed through paperUI first, or it failed again, but that’s probably mentioned somewhere in the above thread?

@5iver After adding the controller I got this sequence in the log, not sure if I need to worry?

Yep, looks broken to me… Any thoughts? Am I getting incompatible versions of the components or am I missing any file? I currently got the following in my /addons/:

No, that sounds like another issue. I only had time to test with zwave, but I’ll take a look at zigbee. The script should remove any installed versions.

However, based on the errors you are getting, it is very possible that the latest version of the binding is no longer compatible with OH 2.4. @chris, is this already known?

It won’t hurt anything the way you have it, but just the script itself (not the zip or directory) should be in /addons/. In fact, since the script will update itself, you can just delete these.

It should be ok - I’m using it here on a 2.4 system. I’ve not tested it with a Telegesis coordinator, but that shouldnt be an issue.
