# ZigBee not connecting Items with CC2531 and Aoara WXKG12LM/MFKZQ01LM Switches

I found, that users solved this by using ZigBee2MQTT and the mqtt binding [for example here](https://community.openhab.org/t/mqtt-2-4-zigbee2mqtt-xiaomi-aqara-sensors-sample-config/64118). I’ll try that and report back. Anyhow, if someone knows an easier solution the questions above are still open.
