ZME_UZB1 is not recognized

I’ve connected the ZME_UZB1 stick to a raspberry pi2. At first it was recognized as /dev/ttyACM0 but after severall reboots it isn’t recognized anymore.

I checked “dmesg” and got the following messages:
[ 864.559020] usb 1-1.4: device descriptor read/64, error -32
[ 864.749021] usb 1-1.4: device descriptor read/64, error -32

Is there something wrong with my system or is the stick corrupted?? I hope anyone can help mi with this issue!

Did you plug in another usb device? Usually the ports changes then …
Take a look here how you can prevent this.

No, it is the only USB device. The stick isn’t recognized on a Windows machine too. When I look into the device manager I get the following message: “Could not get device information” (WIndows 10 x64).

I’m not totally sure, but that sounds a bit like a broken usb stick …

I got my replacement from amazon today.

Maybe the power supply of my raspberry pi isn’t the best one. In the past i had problems with my SD card. The file system was permanently corrupted. I’ll use another one in the future…

So it’s working now?
Yes, sometimes the Pi is a little bit sensitive in which power supply it likes
