Zwave - Gen6 Multisensor - Channel Question

I just got a Gen6 multisensor; i’m looking for clarification as to what the difference is between:
Binary Sensor and Motion alarm

When i first set it up, the Motion alarm would trigger on/off when motion was detected.
After a day, i notice that still happens but Binary sensor is stuck in the on state.

Anyone else experience this or know what the difference is and how they are supposed to work?

They are likely the same thing, but just notified using different command classes. This is quite common in ZWave to have multiple methods.

In general, the NOTIFICATION class is the newer (preferred) class, and the BINARY SENSOR is an older class that is kept for backward compatibility.
