I’m using 3 Zwave Sticks, each communication with a LAN/USB-Server. OH2 is runnning on WIn10. This may work well for some hours or days. But then one of the Com-port runs in an error (Device Manager show an error state on the port). The reason is unknown (2018-09-22 11:09:32.985 [ERROR] [ing.zwave.handler.ZWaveSerialHandler] - Got I/O exception Input/output error in writeArray during sending. exiting thread). The Silex Manager still shows a connected port.
Disabling and reenabling the port with Device Manager solves the port error. But I have no idea, how I can force OH2 after that to retry the faulted port.
My only choice is to stop and restart OH. I’m looking for a way to automate the repair process.
And even better way would be, if OH does repair the port by itself.
