All - I have a z-wave entry device setup for secure communication. I want to add a repeater in between this device and the controller. Does the repeated need to be configured with security inclusion as well to route the locks messages?
No. Security is used to encrypt and decrypt, not to route. Any mains powered device will route, so there’s no need to buy a ‘repeater’… just get any mains powered device. For your special case htough, it will need to support Beaming.
