I’ve been a long LONG time follower of the OpenHAB project going back about 10 years ago. Since then I’ve developed a career in web testing automation and automation frameworks. I’ve always wanted to build a smart home but never had the financial ability. I’ve recently paid off all my student loans and now I’m starting to actually get into build an OpenHAB system for the first time. I used to work for IBM and then I worked for Siemens, now I build 3D cloud sales software.
