I am a mechanical engineer working within the automation industry, due to that primary interest in automation, it was kind of natural to engage with OpenHAB and home automation, too.

So I began with studying the documentation and scripting the first things, items, sitemaps, and rules.

I am really grateful for having the ability to take part in the OpenHAB community for exploring and practicing the possibilities of home automation.
