WE re-wired my house when I moved in so I have an OpenHAB set up using 2.4 on an RPi including the following items:

• 2x Robot Electronics 20 way IP relay boards connected to every ceiling light and many dedicated lamp sockets

• Arduino + Ethernet shield with custom FET board for all LED strips in the bathroom

• Various Brennenstuhl wireless socket adaptors (because I forgot to place lamp sockets everywhere)

• RFXCOM 433

• LightwaveRF 6 button mood switches everywhere

• Work in progress: Honeywell Evohome on every radiator

• no conventional light switches (except for two controlling emergency lighting in my loft and cellar)

• A family and not very much time to keep doing home automation!

• A reasonable acceptance from the family and kids who think it’s cool.
