Semi-retired and busy. openHAB sure looks to be on a strong track and I am now getting serious about starting on our home’s smart system. When I think about priorities for use cases to address, I have in mind a hierarchy of: Safety, Security, Efficiency, followed somehow by a mix of convenience, comfort and entertainment.
My career has involved computer systems engineering, software support, development and implementation, IT sales, IT consulting followed by operating a small construction company.
