My biggest private project was to build a house for my family.
As an Electronic Engineer I “needed” some Gimmicks so we decided to use KNX as the smarthome backbone.

However, KNX itself doesn’t allow too much “smart” stuff so I decided to do the advanced things using openHAB.

In 2020 I was asked by an electrician if I can help him in a KNX project and thus the idea came to offer professional KNX programming services.
In 2021 smartheit was founded were I work part time for.

Whenever more advanced home automation solutions are needed I am using OpenHAB for smartheit customers.
