I’m in the UK. I have a recently installed Control4 and Lutron home automation system. I hadn’t appreciated the extent to which I’d lose control of my system and be so dependent on a dealer with poor (and expensive) service levels.
I’m at the beginning of a journey to migrate to an open system. I’m not a techy but I’ve been impressed by how supportive this community is.
