Has anyone ever tried to integrate OH items or things into Samsung SmartThings? I know that there is a now-defunct Binding, but I am looking for the other direction, I’d like to control OH items or from SmartThings. Background: I am looking into ways to access OH from our Garmin devices, and SmartThings has a neat Garmin app.

When you don’t need cloud access you can also connect the items to your android device via Openhab App and android things. See here:
We are using Apple devices for phones and tablets, and I have used Apple HomeKit Add-on to connect our items, because HomeKit integrates much nicer into the iOS UI than the openHAB app. However, still additionally I’d like to acess items from our Garmin watches/cycling computers, that is why I am looking into SmartThings.
