Hi everyone, I would like to be able to control my items with Google Assistant (Google Home) by leaving the “Implicit User Role” option disabled in the API security settings. But as soon as it is disabled, I no longer have access from Google Home or otherwise via myopenhab.org. Is there any solution using api token or user and password for openhab cloud?

Hi, late to the party, but as I’m fiddeling around with that, maybe it helps someone else. As per my current experiments, you would have to add localhost to your trusted networks to bypass the authentication.
This works beause the openhab cloud addon is communicating via localhost with the openhab instance.
Other than that there doesn’t seem to be a better option as of now.
