Active Discharge of BYD Battery with Kostal Plenticore Plus

Hello everyone,

I have a Kostal Plenticore Plus 8.5 inverter connected to a BYD battery. Our grid operator permits discharging into the grid, and I have a limitation on feed-in capacity. To manage peaks, I want to ensure enough reserve in the battery to buffer these peaks.

For this purpose, I would like to actively discharge the battery early, based on weather forecasts, down to 20%. This way, I can prepare for high production periods.

Have any of you successfully achieved active discharging of the battery into the grid using a rule? If so, I would greatly appreciate your feedback or any advice you can share.
