Addons listed twice?

Running 3.4.0 on a Raspi configured with MainUI
(this is my dev/staging system so not an urgent issue)

Everything available from the Marketplace listed under Addons appears twice

For example

or

Tried clearing cache but still persists.
Also searched the Community but did not find any similar issue.

Any ideas where to look?

Do you use the addons.kar and have remote repo enabled?

Yes, I had an old kar in the addons folder, however remote repo was not enabled.
deleting the kar resolved the issue.
