[SOLVED] After upgrading to #1524 from #1502 Zwave Binding stops working

Following my previous post:

Btw solved reinstalling ALL Binding one by one … I hope someone will keep an eye on it … @Kai upgrading from #1502 to #1524 I’ve lost all bindings installed via PaperUI, and solution was to reinstall all one by one … dunno if other users are experiencing the same issue. Make sense to open a github case?

Long story short: after upgrading my openhabian from #1502 to #1524 (now #1525), all my Bindings have been canceled, and I’ve been forced to reinstall all of my Bindings.

That solved 99% of my issues, but Zwave is not working properly. All my nodes are in “REQUEST_NIF” if battery device, or “PING” if powered. Nothing is working.

Before revert back to #1502 (again), I would like to know if I can do something. The serial port of my controller is OK, I’ve already cleared the cache.

Any clue?

Please help, I’m out of ideas.

Nothing … the nodes are not working. Some data are updated (eg. the current power consumption) but other are not working (eg. switch ON/OFF).

Paste a debug (node 5 -> trying to send OFF command)

I just installed 1524 and the zwave binding is working ok.

Can you post a debug log of the binding starting up? Maybe that will provide some clues.

You also could try a soft reset of the zwave controller stick.

• shut down your system
• remove the stick from the USB port
• put the stick back in the USB port
• start your system

after two soft reset, it seems now nodes start working.

Just one battery node (a Danfoss Thermostat Valve) is still offline. I have already changed a Danfoss because it was not able to connect any more. Quite strange.

Someone here using Danfoss LC-13 Living Connect Z Thermostat?

I’ve found the solution …

removing the thing from PaperUI, then rediscover and add again … did the trick
