Kudos to @hmerk for his great modification of the initial heating widget from @Nico_R for thermostat valves. Here are some screenshots of my usecase for a Sanyo/Panasonic air conditioner:

I’ve been following this widget for years now and I really like the way it looks but it also is pretty clunky (I find personally, at least) to apply to a dashboard.
Not sure why - maybe because it’s round but takes up a whole square.
But I’m happy to see that there’s still interest in making HVAC related widgets, since eventually I’ll be picking up that topic again 
@dk8pn did you mean to share a GitHub link? I was thinking for applying it to my Bosch ACs 
I grabbed it from openHAB-3-ui-widget-AirConditionController-/AirConditionController.yaml at main · hmerk/openHAB-3-ui-widget-AirConditionController- · GitHub from the source of @hmerk and modified it slightly for my needs.
Have integrated it into my BasiUI sitemap using “Webview”. Thus, i can use it on our iPhones and my wife has already “approved” it . The selection boxes also need some space from the square area but they adjust themselves automatically to be on screen.
Edit 23.09.2026: added relative humidity in order to monitor the drying process
