Amazon Echo Control: Support for other smarthome devices

Hi,
I have an IKEA Tradfy Smart Blind attached to my Amazon Echo using ZigBee.
I would like to control this device in OpenHab using Echo Control.
I was able to discover this device, but no channels are offered.
I know, that only some device types are supported (e.g. lights).
Is there any chance, that I can manage this with some hacks? Or it would make sense to raise a feature request for this?
