Amazonechocontrol Binding - TextCommands don't work

Hello

it stopped working for me.
Do you have the same issues?
I already tried logging out and re-authenticating - no success …

please explain a little more detailed what doesn’t work. Which command are you trying to send?
For me everything is working nicely again with the smarthomeJ version. Don’t know about the included one.

Hi

sorry for the lack of detail.
I recognized the whole binding seems to be not fuctional.
Every Thing shows online and i can access myip/amazonechocontrol and everything is authorized but when i send something (volume, textcommand …) the echo devices do not respond.

Which version are you using? What is smarthomeJ?

I am on openHAB 4.3.0.M4

I’m on M4 too.
SmarthomeJ/J is a set of openhab add-ons. Regarding the AmazonEchoControl binding it’s the newer version from the binding maintainer J-N-K.

To use it:
Under settings - json 3rd party add-ons - URLs add
https://download.smarthomej.org/addons.json
and then add this AmazonEcho binding from the Add-On-Store.

Hello

i switched to the binding you also use but i cannot get it to work.
Everything shows online but i cannot get tts or anything to work :frowning:

it seems a clean cache (and a reconnect) is necessary after switching the binding

I found the error …
In the Things Config i needed to specify my echo-input devices as echo - not echo spot.
It works after that

Thanks for your support!
