Android App does not display correctly when remote

Hello all,

When I am not locally in my network and open the openHAB app under Android I see the following picture. What can be the reason for this?

Greetings holger

I have the same issue after updating OH from 3.3.0 to 3.4.1 (Docker version on Synology DiskStation). The UI is displayed correctly when the Android App is used at home, but is messed up when used remotely over myopenhab.org.

What also works correctly is when I use the Android device’s web browser to access the UI through https://home.myopenhab.org/.

Deleting userdata/tmp and userdata/cache and restarting OH does not help.

Any other ideas how to fix that problem?

Greetings
Manuel

In the meantime I was able to get it to work.
Removing and re-adding the openHAB server in the app settings did not help.
Then I deleted all app data via the app info screen of Android and did the app setup procedure again. Now it works both via the local URL when I am connected to my WiFi and via the remote URL when the WiFi is off.

However, I have to be very patient in remote mode as it takes a few seconds to display the screens. I also have to reduce the scaling of the charts to the smallest possible value and disable the high-resolution charts to display them in an acceptable time.
