Android - creating obvious alarm

I have started working with openHAB. So far I have managed to put a door/window sensor and I have added a switch (which acts as an “Alarm enabled”). I created a rule so that when the alarm is enabled and the door changes from closed to open, it raises a notification in my Android mobile. So far so good.

What I would like is having something more obvious in my mobile: like raising an alarm tone, like when I wake up in the morning.

Any idea?

I think the android add ‘tasker’ would help you this. It allows openhab to trigger events on your android device.

There are lots of people using this at present just search the forum for tasker

Finally I managed to do it using Pushsafer addon. Thanks for the suggestion nonetheless.
