Anyone attempted to control a Android TV device via openHAB?

I’m searching for information on the topic, would like to have access to some common function to my Sony Android TV device, eg power on/off and a couple of other functions.

I’m not looking to control it via IR, network would be the preferred, but i suspect that wont be easy once the device is powered off.

Try to install kodi XBMC on this device and control it with existing XBMC binding

Yeah I’m interested in the same thing. Did you get anywhere with this?

@tinkerfailure I have not yet done any investigations. Will update back here if I get anywhere.
