Dear openHAB enthusiasts,
I was wondering if there’s anyone here who has worked on automating a tennis club (or maybe another kind of sports club).
I’m involved in my local tennis club doing some maintenance of the facilities – especially the electrical side of things. Quite often the question comes up whether it still makes sense to repair existing systems or to replace them with something smarter.
Naturally, openHAB came to mind as a platform – for example for hall lighting control, irrigation of the clay courts, control of robotic lawn mowers, and probably a lot more.
For an openHAB enthusiast none of this is a huge challenge technically. Still, I’d be really interested to hear if any of you are already running setups like this in your club. Use cases, hardware…? Any replies, inspiration and ideas are welcome.
