Anyone else hit the Nest protect 18 device limit?

Must say I am quite ticked off, installed 18 out of my 23 smoke detectors and the app says I can’t add any more devices!!! Is the only option to split over multiple accounts?

Interesting, never thought about this, but then again, my house is not that large. According the nest website, you can indeed have no more than 18 smoke/co detectors in one home (and 20 thermostats, 10 cameras). You can however have 2 homes in one account, that would at least cover your 23 then without creating a second account.
