Banned from openhabcloud?

It seems my ip is blocked from openhab cloud? How do I get it unblocked and find out what caused it?

All I see in logs is:

2024-12-23 13:18:19.800 [DEBUG] [io.openhabcloud.internal.CloudClient] - Socket.IO re-connecting (attempt 853) 2024-12-23 13:18:29.846 [DEBUG] [io.openhabcloud.internal.CloudClient] - Error connecting to the openHAB Cloud instance: EngineIOException websocket error. Should reconnect automatically. 2024-12-23 13:18:29.853 [DEBUG] [io.openhabcloud.internal.CloudClient] - Socket.IO re-connect attempt error: SocketIOException Connection error

I should add that I cannot login to the site frkm anyother devices on my LAN.

I also saw the websocket error in my logs too, noticed issues with my system being unreachable on Dec 22nd. Restarting the binding along with the service, connection persisted.

Looks like the issue resolved itself this morning…

Hi, do you have custom scripts or integrations built against myopenHAB? I have implemented some request throttling/blocking for connections that are repeatedly hitting us at very, very high rates, our service was getting hammered and slowing stuff down. I don’t want to block legitimate traffic however, so curious what your traffic looks like. The block is not permanent however and will auto unblock the ip after 1 hour.

Is this why the Google Assistant is complaining that “openhab is currently unreachable” a lot the last days?

The only thing hitting the cloud would be the link to google assistant actions.

Nothing custom from me, and it last much longer than 1 hour. But as Fabio_folino stated it seems to have resolved itself for me too.

Oh- now that you mention it I’ve been having the worst luck with Google assistant these last days too.

Why do you think this is related? I doubt it is, so lets not get off topic here. I’ll take a look to make sure this is not causing issues, i guess that could be a possibility.
