Best water filters for home, expert suggestions

I have been researching the best water filters for home from past few days. I want to make sure my family has safe, clean, and great-tasting water every day. After reading expert reviews from reputable sources like Consumer Reports, The Spruce, and Good Housekeeping, I’ve narrowed my list down to two top-recommended options:

iSpring RCC7AK, NSF Certified, Water Filter System Under Sink

The first one is the filter system which uses a 6-stage reverse osmosis process to remove up to 99% of contaminants. This system is installed under the sink and provides a steady supply of purified water directly from the tap, making it ideal for cooking and drinking.

WINGSOL Dual Mode Alkaline UV Reverse Osmosis Water Filter System

The second option is the one which combines advanced reverse osmosis filtration with UV sterilization This one seems like a powerful all-in-one solution for those who want maximum purity and better-tasting water.

I am having trouble deciding which one would best suit my needs. I want clean, safe water for daily drinking and cooking. The Budget is flexible but I need something which truly gives best quality and long lasting.

Which one would you recommend for home use? Any advice or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

just an example. Be sure to research reverse osmosis and its downsides.

Problem is, you want safe water, but not dead water.
I’m by no means an expert, but afaik reverse osmosis will “over purify” the water, so there are no more minerals in the water, you will have to add at least some minerals back to get healthy tap water.

And of course as the water is filtrated, you will have some sort of sewer to get rid of the leftover… The filter has to be maintained at least once a year (if you have high quality water) or even more frequent if the water is not as good as it should be.

Water can never be “dead” or “alive”. It CAN be infested with nasty or benign critters.
I have used RO filtered water for 20 years, for flavor, because in the US, Tap Water is ALMOST universally safe (some well publicized exceptions).
My latest Costco purchased under sink RO filter has a remineralize stage. It has not changed my perception of the tase of the plain water. I mostly use the RO filtered water to make sparkling water, soda pop, and coffee.

P.S. not sure how this applies to Home Automation
